  February 2, 2024 - Fresh (in the overall energy, not necessarily specific aromas) but faint nose: cherry jam, strawberries, a little bit of plum. There is surprisingly mint and chocolate.
  On the palate, it’s sweet and the high alcohol really shows. Strong prune notes, a little bit of chocolate.
  Finish is medium in length with berries and some bay leaf or tobacco.

  December 13, 2023 - The color is an intense ruby with very slight garnet reflections on the edge, displaying a beautiful transparency. In the glass, you can already sense the texture that will later be found on the palate. On the nose, it is dominated by ripe red fruit, raspberry, strawberries in spirits, sour cherries, and cherries. There are subtle hints of toasting, and almost negligible ethereal notes. On the palate, it is alcoholic and sweet, with a lovely freshness that helps balance the significant residual sugar, persistence below the average for the category.
  
  l colore è un rubino intenso con leggerissimi riflessi granati sull'unghia, di bella trasparenza. Nel calice si intuisce già la consistenza che poi troveremo al palato. Al naso è dominato dalla frutta rossa matura, lampone, fragole sotto spirito, amarene, ciliegie. Lievi i sentori di tostatura e quasi nulla quelli eterei. In bocca è alcolico e dolce, con una bella freschezza che aiuta a bilanciare il grande residuo zuccherino, persistenza sotto la media della categoria.

  December 9, 2022 - Naturally, the wine looks ruby-coloured. Nose: Cherry and dried plum, chocolate, espresso, oak, vanilla and molasses. The body is medium-bodied. The wine finishes medium. Too sweet for me as an aperitif.

  November 5, 2022 - An adequate Ruby. Simple, sugary, red fruit, cocoa, short finish. Apparently I got ripped off at a Krogers in Dayton, OH for $22.49.

  October 23, 2022 - Is a Ruby port. Very similar to the Kopke ports and the Noval Black Ruby ports. Dark red, rich, fruity, soft-finished. Very pleasant for after dinner sipping.
