November 2, 2020 - Medium purple with minimal garnet. Green cherry and soapstone with hints of earthy mushrooms. Palate is blackberry and cedar with black cherry cocoa. Acid is moderate and tannins are fine with a long finish.

January 17, 2017 - Dark fruit, balanced, smooth tannins, and ready to go. Fantastic price/quality ratio. Wish I had much more!

January 7, 2015 - First Wednesday Wine Group (Coral Gables, FL): Two years later, still drinking great. Slight sweetness, dark fruits, tannins well balanced. (David Glabman wine)

August 16, 2014 - Very nice with smoked ribs. Especially after an hour. This is a dark purple beauty with a hint of spice. Would recommend decanting.

January 11, 2014 - Bouquet of ripe dark fruits, with notes of raisins or prunes, sweet vanilla, and baking spices. Immediate taste profile of Amarone on the attack, which comes off very nicely. This wine embraces the palate, it is concentrated, warm, and inviting with excellent texture. Not as dry as many Amarones. Interesting experience.

October 28, 2013 - Had with Argentinian amigo- we were pleased with this foreign amarone! Smooth black fruit, well integrated oak, good acidity, lingering spice, and slightly sweet finish. Will but again!

April 10, 2013 - Like this wine. Sweet, but really nice character. Dark purple, smooth. Enjoyed this with Swedish meatballs and potatoes.

January 9, 2013 - Collaboration between Allegrini & Bodega Renacer. 60% Malbec, 30% Cab Sauv, 5% Cab Franc, 5% Bonarda. Grapes dry on the vine and don't rot because of low humidity. The result is a super ripe Amarone-like style. Very interesting and unique, some might describe as too fruity but you have to know what it is. There is heat and structure there too, subtle in the background.
