June 8, 2018 - Subtle aroma with notes of cherries and dried fruits. It is sweet with flavors of cherries, raisins, marzipan and spice. It is reminiscent of port but without the strong alcohol of a fortified wine. Almost silky compared to other dessert wines. Short finish.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of prunes, dry figs, cocoa and hints of liquorice.
The wine is sweet in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium- supple tannins and a high warm alcohol. It is full-bodied with medium+ intensity flavours. The finish is medium+.
It is a good quality wine. It has a remarkable flavour intensity and a persistent finish, however it is somewhat simple in the nose, and it needs more flavour concentration to balance the sweetness.
April 5, 2015 - Blend of Mavrodaphne and Black Korinthiaki. Prune and raisin aromas from the cork. Medium intensity aroams of raisins, dried figs, caramel and dates with medium sweet aroma replays on the palate. Smooth, slightly creamy texture, light-to-mid weight body with good acids. Medium length finish that has notes of semi-sweet milk chocolate from a hot fudge sundae. Serve well-chilled.
April 3, 2015 - Clear, medium ruby with garnet on the rim. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity and complex, with aromas of raisins, dried figs, dates and caramel. The palate is medium sweet and a little hot, with 15% alcohol. The acidity is a little unbalanced at medium (-). The tannins are nicely integrated and soft at medium (-). This is a medium (+) bodied wine with medium (+) flavor intensity and medium length. It reminds me of a ruby port but is perhaps a little too skewed towards the soft side of the spectrum. Still, it's quite a good value for this style of wine.
