April 10, 2014 - Opened and enjoyed first night with steak. Well made wine with elegant structure good balance and blackcurrant fruit and spice flavours., Bin end price of $3.99 meant good value price point. Vacuumed overnight and still on the mark on day two and perfect accompaniment with cut peppers and celery and cheese dip and hummus. Very nice!

November 18, 2013 - This is the real thing, Cabernet Sauvignon as it is supposed to be. Already aged 4 years, it is tasting super well now. Rich dark purple color. Pure Cabernet nose with brooding black fruit, a touch of oak, and some vegetal stuff. It hits the palate with a very Chilean influence to a balance between fruit and non fruit flavors. There is brined olives, pencil lead, black licorice and charcoal supporting the vegetal blackberry and currant fruit. Superb balance with acid and alcohol. Full bodied. Oak, but not too much. Such a bargain at under 10 bucks.
