August 1, 2022 - Really enjoyed this wine. Very smoky, mineral on the nose, and robust acid on the palate. Reminded me of a fine Etna wine.

November 8, 2020 - a very elegant wine. A strong backbone because of its acidity that also brings enough freshness. Very aromatic, still on the berries side, despite its age. good finish. perfect with cheese.

June 1, 2019 - really an enjoyable wine but completly off the road and highly recommended for the amateurs of this tiny appellation.

August 1, 2017 - The bouquet was incredible. Just last week I had enjoyed a 2008 Hubert Lignier Morey and the two wines are remarkably similar. The nose gave lush red fruits, some stewed plums, roasted herbs and an underlying soy note that wrapped it all together. Then the palette... SEARING ACID. The first sip was enough to make you cough. The acid calmed down a bit in the glass, or maybe I just got used to it. Paired with fried skate wing it was very good. I don't see much more aging potential left however, as the acid will most likely become more prominent as the wine ages. Drink up you hedonists.

April 11, 2017 - Dinner at Ceres' Table (Chicago, IL): From 500 ml (do they come in any other sizes?). This was probably my favourite wine of the evening. The nose has a slight saline quality to it, along with some very explosive and ripe red fruit aromas, as well as just a little bit of volatile acidity, which doesn't really get in the way of things. The palate is quite coarse and feels a bit rustic, but there's no dirty funk here at all. Dense and concentrated, but with a real freshness too.
