August 24, 2023 - Shiny yellow gold. Citrus, tropical fruits, mango, yellow peach, apricot, shellfish, orange peel and minerality. Elegant, complex and crisp. Very long, dry, saline finish. It didn't feel 23 years of age. Prime window to drink now and for the few years to come.

June 13, 2023 - served almost immediately after opening. Good nose of petrol, but more oxidized than expected. Acidity was not so sharp here. Second pour around 40 minutes after opening, and the wine was colder and showed more polyurethane. Still more sweet and rounded than expected. Pretty nice.

August 15, 2022 - Blind from half bottle, decanted. High petro and very Riesling, although looking back at my note from four years ago today it only offers the yellow fruit and maybe a touch of floral aromatics. Loosing structure, not really what it should be after aging. 91-92

July 23, 2022 - French White Wine Afternoon on a Beautiful Summer Day (Seattle): Half bottle. Deep yellow color. Expressive ripe yellow peach. Rounder, more glycerine, and less austere than the 2007. A completely different animal, fully mature and showing secondary notes such as petrol. A treat to taste and a terrific showing. Thank you, Don.

March 29, 2022 - huge nose of petrol, white flowers, very fragrant. Slight hint of bitter lemon. Drinking nicely with some maturity on it. Some honey showed up 30 minutes after opening, and this just got better over the course of the evening. Sooo alluring.
