July 31, 2023 - Stewed red fruits, lively acidity, peppercorns, smoke, touch of spice. The fine velvety tannins were the star of the show though. This one is at its peak. Served with garlic and rosemary lamb cutlets.

August 6, 2022 - Delicious Pinot Noir! Paired well with salmon dish. Classic Burgundian nose; well-balanced; still retains good fruit.

March 7, 2022 - This is certainly showing some secondary development though I would caution to open up this anytime soon; a lovely white peppery profile with Vosne spice in the form of clove and cinnamon with dried roses, cedar chest and firewood complexity come to the foreground begrudgingly. I love the acidity/freshness in this wine that work well in counterpoint to the rich, dense red fruit flavors intact. This is one of the most muscular Drouhin reds I have tasted in a while. This is almost demanding food right now as the impression of the tannins and acidity is a bit drying and clipped at the moment. 93+.

August 24, 2021 - This was singing tonight with a nose of crushed strawberries and cherries, just starting to develop tertiary flavours still quite fresh. On the palate it was balanced and delicious but just a little bit shorter than I would have liked.

September 12, 2020 - Just a lovely nose with licorice and cherries, concentrated and ready. Drink now!
