  April 8, 2024 - Screw cap. Deep dark opaque garnet color with no bricking. Nose of sweet blueberry and boysenberry aroma with vanilla and alcohol secondary. Palate - very fruit forward and full bodied, jammy with blueberry and boysenberry being predominant, with vanilla/wood , black pepper, and a bit of heat. Medium to long finish with a touch of tannins and heat at end of finish. Not particularly complex but very good wine with excellent QPR.

  January 28, 2023 - Not my typical wine these days but this was quite good. Obviously very full bodied but not over the top by any means. Loads of ripe fruit, some oak, good grip on the finish. I can't believe this is 16.5% abv, it seems much less. This bottle was shared and enjoyed by quite a few people and all were impressed.

  August 25, 2020 - Big and mature. Full mouth explosion of berries and slight bit of heat. Doesn’t seem as high on alcohol as it is. Enjoyed it a lot, had with a pork tenderloin.

  July 25, 2020 - Decanted and tasted, initially huge sweet blueberry, boysenberry concentrated fruit bomb, after some time fruit subsided showing secondary notes of chocolate, pepper oaky notes.
