Great huge nose. Disappointing though on the palate.
Very chewy and overpowering tannins. Needs some time to settle down.
Has some serious potential. Lush blackberry, charred cedar, tobacco leaf and cigar box are all over the nose.
The palate, besides being tannic, is very dark showing some earthy spicy notes.
Lay down for four more years.
