April 29, 2022 - This held up remarkably well; definitely not deteriorating yet. Immediately identifiable as a California chardonnay, but restrained on the butter and oak. Very pleasant!

    ABS : 91
    Rqp-Terroir : +1

January 25, 2016 - I loved the nose on this with notes of honey, vanilla, and just a hint of burnt oak. Smelled like a nice mix of flowers when it warmed to room temperature. Flavors of green apple, pears, and peels of orange on the palate. Nice complex finish that was pleasant and provided great QPR. My only bottle bought at auction and it was magnificent. I was concerned given this was two years past the suggested drinking window but this was excellent. Highly recommended and I would look at future vintages to purchase if the price was reasonable.

November 29, 2013 - Our evening got better as we had an early dinner at Hanna’s. The meal was great. I enjoyed a simple roasted chicken with spinach and carrots and had a glass of 2010 Stags' Leap Winery Chardonnay.
It was pale straw in color and had a nice flowery citrus nose. Besides the great fruit, it had the right amount of mineral feel to the glass. A great pour for $14 a glass.

September 5, 2013 - Hart Davis Hart BYOB Dinner (Hinterland Gastropub, Milwaukee, WI): Very faint but pleasantly perfumed and floral nose. Light oak allowing the chardonnay to speak. Somewhat light and simple, but pleasing and easy to drink.
