January 24, 2021 - Really in a very good place now. Claret colour. Gentle astringent nose ( spice and eucalyptus. Red fruit nose leads to strong dark cherry flavour with some hints of cassis. Very similar to top end Valpolicella and Barolo.

December 4, 2020 - Nice smokey, mineral richness to this. More glossy than many Bierzo wines I've tried. Alcohol pokes out a little.

August 14, 2020 - This was outstanding. Great balance and length. Perfectly ripe fruit, cherries, cranberries, violet. There are some secondary earthy notes waiting to emerge. This is great now, better in 3-5 years. Finesse and elegance here.

August 14, 2020 - Tasted alongside another Bierzo from Raul Perez. This was slightly better (more concentration). Great fruit, density, and length. Kept improving in the glass.

May 23, 2020 - Medium body, this has come on quite a bit since it’s last outing 3 years ago, now in early maturity, it’s very classy with some red cherry and a little cranberry with a touch of black currant, just a touch of tannins for texture now, starting to develop some earthy notes, lovely acidity and perfect balance, really good stuff with more to come
