  March 18, 2022 - What I call a dessert rum, in that it is suitably complex, clearly sweeter end of spectrum and super smooth so it can be drunk neat even by the novice drinker. Really no harshness here at all and much of its quality comes from the great nose it offers of cinnamon,vanilla, bourbon cask note, allspice. Yum.

  July 24, 2020 - An excellent nose of deep brown sugar, fruit drop and if you keep at it and behind that some old wood furniture. Palate very pleasant, the wood is well integrated, but not too profound. Reason I cannot give a 90 or 91 is a discrepancy between the abv on the bottle and the lower measured value, as well as plenty of added sugar.
