March 1, 2023 - Once again, a village level Bachelet punches above it's weight. Simple, relatively light and smooth classic red burg. Paired great with salmon kabobs. Great QPR.

Initially, at cellar temperature, it was tart and red-fruited, but with the food and as it warmed it blossomed and became rich and perfectly balanced with generous red fruit and cleansing acidity. Certainly this has plenty of life ahead of it but it's drinking very well now. As always, this bottling punches well above its weight class.

September 23, 2022 - Classic Burgundian nose, all red fruited (crunchy raspberry and cranberry fruit) with a touch of green/stem notes. Hint of of spice as well. Palate was fresh and juicy with great acidity. The green note on the nose did seem to blow off as the wine warmed up (we popped it straight from cellar temp) and got increased air. For reference, not an unpleasant green note like 04/11 red burgs, but more of a stem inclusion note. Overall very enjoyable and in a great spot now, but a decent bit of acid and fruit remain so it’s got legs to keep going should you want to hold further.

February 14, 2021 - Light without much wood or tannic structure. Nonetheless, an interesting offering with a degree of salinity I haven’t yet detected in a red. A very pleasant village level wine.
