June 15, 2017 - Just a pleasure to drink. This reminds me of a northern Rhone wine in a warm year. This was elegant and refined yet juicy and lush. Rare combination.

February 10, 2017 - Still going strong. Very new world, but quite delicious. The last few CT notes are spot on

February 9, 2017 - 2017 GFGWTC Red Wine Red Meat Dinner (Ruth's Chris Minneapolis): Blackish, midnight purple color. Peppers and star anise on the expressive nose. Some heat. Concentrated, dense, and a touch chewy palate, but otherwise velvety palate of black fruits and plum. Full, but not overdone. Perky acidity and med+ finish. Held it's own in company as much as 10x the price.

June 6, 2015 - This was a spectacular experience. From magnum. No rush to drink up, aging nicely, should last for several more years. WWOOWW!

May 2, 2015 - This has been decanted nearly three hours at this point. The nose was initially explosive with cassis, plums, and cocoa but has since settled and is becoming a bit reticent. The palate comes across quite true to the nose, with some oak treatment evident and a touch of heat. This is a good wine, from a producer I gravitate towards for this style of wine.
