September 7, 2013 - Spicy black plum nose, similar palate. Drying tannins but not course. Just medium mouth weight. Carries its 14.5 abv well; it's not intrusive. Indeed, modern Durif moderation in fruit weight and other respects, including I suspect use of oak.

June 4, 2012 - A terrific expression of modern Rutherglen Durif. Fragrant and spicy and delicious dark fruits. Alcohol whilst high very well integrated. Recommended.
