February 7, 2020 - Wines for the Acker Merrall Bicentennial Auction (The Pool - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Very ripe, but more balanced than most 2003s. Black cherry throughout with bright enough finish.

October 14, 2018 - Wow!!! This was such a surprise. Based on previous CT notes we thought this may be on the downslide but I think it's in fact moving towards peak and getting close. Decanted with aerating filter and poured in glass 5-10 minutes later it was initially shy but over the next hour just kept opening and improving over the next hour as we consumed it with grilled Lac Brome duck breast and grilled quail at Churchill's. Very very happy!!

August 6, 2016 - Nice perfume on the nose with ripe cherries, plums and some earthy notes. Palate has all the elements fully integrated with plummy earthy notes and rounder and more opulent than is usual for a Pezerolles. Beginning its decline but still really enjoyable. Last bottle and glad I had this now. Slipped down a treat, but rather too quickly.

June 19, 2016 - Opened up after 30min, in a burg glass the aroma intensity and the persistency is solid and enjoyable. The fruit structure is firm, earthy and intergrated nicely, the after taste is medium long. All in all a classic pommard withholding the quality standard from the reputable montille.

October 23, 2015 - Very evolved aromatically and on palate, perhaps fruit fading somewhat, slight bell pepper aroma (not unpelasant), tannins slightly dry. Seems fully mature without acidity or middle to improve -- would drink now.
