June 4, 2023 - Deep mahogany hue. Blackcurrant, pencil shavings, some graphite, lavender and black olives on the nose.
Medium- body. Smooth - tannins have softened. Not overly complex but a good entry level Bordeaux from a good vintage.
December 7, 2021 - Beginnings of some maturity on this. Opens with signature aromas of worn leather, cassis and some sweet tobacco. Medium bodied palate, though tannins are still a bit rough and drying. Short finish. Decent everyday drinker but will benefit from more bottle age.

March 22, 2021 - MF colour, good nose if a little subdued, plenty of fruit, soft tannins decent length.

Fairly deep ruby with a hint of garnet at the rim
Earthy nose with a hint of violets and green pepper
Rather chunky meaty and rustic on the palate, a bit dry and just a hint of violets
I’d actually hold at the risk of this drying out.

October 30, 2019 - Carafé une bonne partie de la soirée. Bien meilleur que la dernière il y a deux ans. Encore un peu sec et dur, mais il commence à s’adoucir et les tannins sont mieux fondus. Agréable en bouche avec des beaux arômes de fruits noirs. Manque un peu d’amplitude et de longueur, en plus d’une texture plus aimable pour scorer plus haut. Prochaine dans 2-3 ans encore. Encore du potentiel d’amélioration.
October 28, 2019 - Tasted at The Wine Society's Bordeaux tasting, London. This was a late substitute for the 2014. Medium garnet colour. Nose is plummy with aniseed, leathery and complex. The palate has a slight metallic aftertaste and not huge fruit. If I'm honest I think this is already past its best, but the notes say drink to 2025. Maybe it's in a sleeping phase.
