October 26, 2017 - Wheat color, clear and bright. Nose is Chardonnay, brioche, chamomile, lovely bottle-aged complexity, and a tiny but perceptible hint of oxidation. The palate offers both richness and acidity. The richness is the first impression - layers of fruit, brioche again, even some nuances that remind me of butterscotch. The flavors are broad and round, but there is good acidity too, which makes itself known in the mid-palate. The profile is richer than most Chablis, but this wine also has more bottle age than the Chablis I normally drink. A revelation on how these wines can age.

August 18, 2017 - Last bottle of case. A beauty and pristine. Light yellow. Almond, rich white flowers. Good balance.

June 27, 2017 - This wine is beautiful mature GC Chablis with appropriate maturity for age. The colour is pale straw, the nose all baked apple, lemon barley, straw and stones. The palate is initially quite rich with plenty of apple, pear, lemon drops and straw leading into an intense grip of minerality and chalk. There is plenty of drive and grip with a fine finish. Not quite the purity of a great GC Chablis but overall an excellent Chablis.

June 10, 2017 - Drank last nite at Saltaire. I've had this wine a few times over the past few years and it's still going strong. Notes are consistent. Nose of apples & citrus. Medium weight, still some oak but not as weighty as noted previously. Lovely balance of moderately ripe fruit & minerality, though still on the rich side (as can often be the case with grand cru chablis). Complexity and length too. A real crowd pleaser. Sadly, only 1 bottle left, but no rush to drink it.

May 15, 2017 - no flaws here. Drinking well now. A bit richer than last year, but nice saline, citrus, floral and mineral character. Clearly Chablis.

(Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Cote de Bouguerots) Light yellow color; high pitched, green chile nose; medium bodied, ripe lemon, mineral palate with a strong green note, like Padron chilies, that wasn't there when I tried it earlier in the year; medium-plus finish (seems like the cursed '04, late onset Burgundy green meanies have claimed another victim)
