September 27, 2017 - Full bodied but lithe at the same time, if that makes any sense. Initial creamy lemon and sea spray gave way to grapefruit, honey, flowers and more. Delicious... but perhaps lacking the brilliance of the 2004 Les Clos.

July 30, 2017 - This wine had a light yellow center and clear rims (obviously not premoxed). After 5 hours in a decanter the medium intensity nose put forth pear, white stone, vanilla, and citrus.

In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe with excellent cutting acidity. Interestingly, this bottling seemed to avoid the over-ripe quality that I often find in Fevre wines. It had excellent balance and length.

This was starting to drink nicely (which seemed somewhat early). However, it appears likely to improve with time in the cellar assuming no premox.

June 13, 2017 - Similar experience to the last 2 bottles with this final bottle showing appropriate colour and maturity for age. There was plenty of apple, lemon, hay and barley sugar with more distinct oyster shell and grip on the finish. A satisfying bottle if not classic Chablis.

June 11, 2017 - Alas my last bottle. But this one was in good shape and not oxed... Very lean and lithe, providing super mineral and saline profile with ample flint and rainbow of flowers and citrus. It had however lost its backend energy and if any of you have any bottles left, I would recommend not waiting any longer. Something could have been better as this hasn't hit its secondary elements but it doesn't have the stuffing to last much longer neither... Ah well. The French say; c'est la vie. Cheers,
