January 20, 2024 - Oregon Trip-Day 2 (Here and there, Willamette Valley): Medium yellow. At first, ripe orchard fruit and vanilla on the nose, then with air more saline/iodine emerged. Fabulous enveloping texture, outstanding acidity that exceeded that in the 2010 Vaillons last night. The rich pear fruit became more lemony over time, and it veered more toward a typical Chablisien profile. Superb and still embryonic.

July 22, 2023 - When opened, this bottle seemed fine if a bit tight. And given the vintage we had high expectations. But it never opened up, even over four hours. If anything, it went into more of a shell. Hopefully just an odd/off bottle.

June 4, 2023 - Atlas Tasting menu with Chef Freddy Money:
Incredible, rich still with citrus and LONG finish.
There is a reason Raveneau is one of the most respected producers in Chablis. Fabulous pairing with white asparagus, caviar beurre blanc with lemon and chives
Amazing 10-course tasting that was a worldwide tour touching down in Spain, Japan, Singapore and Georgia among Chef's influences. Life is good!

April 5, 2023 - Wine gathering at RJ's; 4/4/2023-4/7/2023 (South Carolina): Classic Raveneau nose displaying generous pure white fruit, pear, apple, white peach, strong beeswax, honeysuckle, saline, cool mountain stream, a hint of mint, coriander seeds, spicy spices and crushed rocks. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of delicious pure white fruit, exceptional purity, energy and balance, medium acidity that is supported by strong limestone mineral and saline, and a long pure white fruit driven finish with beeswax at the end. This youthful example is drinking incredibly well.

June 11, 2022 - This is lovely in the rich Raveneau style. Effusive and almost oily. Yet there’s a distinct aroma of oyster shell too to let you know it’s Chablis. Acidity is borderline low. Mature. Nice but not super minerally if that’s what you crave.

April 8, 2022 - Fantastic, clear, direct, mineral. Really showed nicely after about an hour and a bit of decant. Just really nice and paired really well with cooked dishes at Sushi Noz

November 19, 2021 - Raveneau Grand Cru with Maxime Raveneau (110 Taillevent London): During Raveneau dinner with Maxime Raveneau sampling all three GCs 12/10/08/05 at 110 Taillevent London. No formal notes taken. The 10 vintage stylistically for me the best out of the four, it's got it all being very classic Chablis but also having a radiant fruit to it. The best of the Blanchots today with the 08 a neck to neck for me.
