March 20, 2024 - Felt touch tired. Color, aromatics, palate. Let's call it natural aging. (VE 0338)

August 2, 2020 - Clear. Gold. Crushed stones. Buttery and creamy. So much oak. Rounded palate. Nutty quality. Full bodied. Medium acidity. Long finish. Balanced. Served blind and I called Grand Cru Burgundy. From BV.

May 24, 2020 - Tasted blind, this wine had a medium yellow center with clear rims. The moderate intensity nose emanated lemon, creme brulee, white stone, and apple.

In the mouth, this wine was relatively refined with stunning balance and integration. It showed very little weight in the mouth but had a huge flavor impact. It also had an attractive creamy texture.

This bottle was still quite young and would have a couple points of upside if we had not popped the bottle. If your color looks good, I would recommend holding this for at least 5 years. If you see any gold or bronze color, sell.

December 17, 2019 - Tasted next to the Batard and Bienvenues-Batard. Preferred the nose of the Batard, but this was still beautiful.
More elegant and complex, very balanced with a Long finish. More dry and subtle versus the Batard, which was sweeter with more fruity notes coming through.

May 6, 2019 - Fresh and young with yellow fruit and chalk. But it was missing the nut fruit and flint of an aged leflaive. But it gained weight and sweetness after 2 hours in the glass. Give it a few more years. I think it has upside.
