September 30, 2013 - - Garnet color.
October 18, 2012 - Good bouquet but mediocre taste and bitter finish
June 17, 2012 - Consistent with previous note, decent value.
May 22, 2012 - Dry plum, red fruits, woody, smoked and very tasteful. Drank in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
April 11, 2012 - A nose of dark fruit and cedar, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Cab with black currants, black cherry, currants and cedar spice, a bit gritty, but good for price.
March 18, 2012 - St. Patrick's Day Tasting (East Bay): Young cab blend, black fruits, nice overall. 86-87
March 12, 2012 - Had I looked at the label and seen the 14.5% alcohol I would have gone to Plan B. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive wine that I could drink on an any-day type of basis. So far, no luck. Will see if it opens up over the next few hours. (a bit of the alcohol blows off so took to 85 from 83 but wouldn't drink this everyday - it's not bad - but can find better or maybe am partial to Napa Oak, there is very little Oak here which makes it taste different than much of what I drink - could improve with decant but popped/poured). I see Jay Miller writing for Robert Parker gave the wine a 90 -- so is a matter of taste. Think my taste is more fruit forward than this can deliver.
December 30, 2011 - Sweeter
October 30, 2011 - Good smell, a bit bitter after taste over all not too bad
October 1, 2011 - Good value wine. Decant and give it 4 hours.
