    September 10, 2019 - I’m amazed. Usually not a fan of Virginia wines. But, I found this one in the cellar and set it aside to try. Fantastic color. Good fruit. A tinge of vanilla and butter on the middle palate. Good alcohol content. Kind’a exactly what Jefferson would have imagined could be produced in VA.

    July 23, 2011 - Virginia Wines from 2011 Wine Bloggers Conference; 7/22/2011-7/24/2011 (Omni Hotel, Charlottesville; Monticello; and Pollak and Veritas Tasting Rooms, Virginia): Very dark ruby color; tart berry, tart currant, French oak nose; ripe currant, tart raspberry palate with near medium acidity and firm tannins; needs 3 years; medium-plus finish 87+ points (with 15% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot)
