February 4, 2024 - 2010 Was a Good Vintage in France (Jordan's Place - Chicago IL): Tasty apricot with very good richness, but this is a wine that doesn’t work well with either savory or sweet foods, so difficult for me to often enjoy.

December 23, 2022 - When I opened the bottle, it was not lively at all. Some aeration revived it. A great balance between sweetness and acidity. Still little tangy but not much.

August 26, 2022 - Such a beautiful and compelling wine. I sometimes find GH a little underpowered and green compared to the reliably glorious WS, but this may make me look again at the GH wines, as there was no lack of substance as well as the elegance I'd expected. Featherlight Chantilly cream, passionfruit and lime zest, plenty of energy and cut - glass empty in a flash.

August 18, 2022 - Flowers, petrol/plastic film, honey on the nose and palate. Decanted for an hour but still super tight. Lovely to drink but a bit simple and straightforward for now; I suspect this will get much more complex and expressive with (a lot more) age. Put down for another 10 years I think, at least.

May 29, 2022 - This is a stunning wine, with a delicious balance of intense fruitiness, crisp acidity, low alcohol (8%), and composed sweetness.

Community Recommendations

opened to try with Indian. not the greatest pairing. seems pretty tight and young (even though decanted for an hour). let sit for 3 more nights, trying now.
