December 25, 2022 - Quite enjoyable Barolo from the Ginestra area in Monforte from a Magnum.
Bouquet with some violets, umami, salty notes and darker berries.
Medium to full bodied with tannins that are slowly mellowing down. I guess it will be at this level for another decade. -

November 20, 2022 - Fully mature Barolo, drinking nicely at this time. Fragrant nose of cherry and tar. Tastes fruity with plenty of cherry, leather, and well integrated oak. Full bodied and smooth with very fine tannins. Quite enjoyable.

July 13, 2020 - Drank after 2 hours in the decanter. Really liked this strong cherry flavored Barolo with good muscle, tension and lively finish. Very silky.

July 10, 2020 - Pnp with Jason. The first thing one notices is wood. Lots of wood. There's some fruit hiding behind the wood and tannin. It smoothed out quite a bit over time and was very enjoyable but I'm going to wait at least 5 years on the next one.
