  December 17, 2023 - still quite nice, this bottle was fresh and lively and balanced. in a good spot - somewhat of a primary / secondary state.

  April 30, 2021 - Lovely. It's fully mellowed, with the only off note being a whiff of dill/vegetal that i get sometimes in Napa cabs. Happy memories of this bottle though.

  November 10, 2020 - much mellowed since i last drank this in 2013, though there's still enough happening to suggest the wine's not on life support given the 2020 CT window (though i do miss some of the boldness from earlier years).
  
  solid medium-to-dark fruit that is balanced out by notes of caramel and apple, integrated smokiness, underlying earthiness with a hint of must, and something i couldn’t quite place… a little bit of an herbaceous olive-y element, perhaps (but without the briny component)?

  July 7, 2019 - PnP great wine that was still punching above its weight class- and still has enough to keep on punching. Wine is beginning to show secondary evolution but the primary is not giving in.
