Community Tasting Notes 1

October 2, 2015 - The wine is clear and medium gold in colour.
The nose is clear with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus fruits (lemon), stone fruits (white peach), tropical fruit (melon), secondary aromas of oak (vanilla) and malolactic (cream), tertiary aromas of baked apple and nuts and toast. The wine is developing.
The palate is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity flavours of lemon, peach, melon, vanilla, cream, baked apples. The finish is medium.
The wine is very good in quality - the acid balances the fruit, complexity comes from the range of primary, secondary and tertiary elements, the finish and flavours are medium which stop it being outstanding.
The wine should be drunk now and is not suitable for further ageing (drink in the next 12 months).
