September 15, 2012 - After 24 hours open at 59 deg F ... perfumed bath soap (pleasant not off putting at all) infused with herbal elements, deep rich well-integrated blackberry-black cherry fruit with well-integrated oak notes and somewhat strong mineral tendencies, a lively lifted finish. This wine seemed at its peak for the day-open state and would impress guests that paid even a little attention to its rich and mature state. Drinks like listening to an elder statesman recount his/her experiences in a 45 min speech of place very different than home. Just wonderful.
