November 13, 2023 - From another century, bu juste après un Tignanello 99, les dieux me gatent.
Vin somptueux, tout en finesse, couleur vivace malgré l’âge. Notes de sous bois automnal et de prune au kirsch.

December 29, 2021 - Wow! Colour not really showing its age, the slightlest of dark bricking and crystal clear. Palate is similarly clean with meaty notes and hints of fresh herb notes and a little cherry. Tannins are fully integrated but still very present. Less impressive finish but doesn’t detract from the wine.

November 15, 2018 - VinoLaprisco Col d’Orcia Tasting (Hanos Eindhoven, NL): Livelier than both the 1999 and the 1998 which preceded it, well balanced and harmonious, touch of Alpine herbs, nutty maturity, hint of white mushroom, gentle tannins, nice freshness, vestiges of red berry fruit, light and slightly estery finish, good length.
