December 10, 2014 - Always like the Durell; Rich and fruity, good dark red berry, some meatiness but not barnyard or earthy; moderate length finish, Smooth with silky, mild tannin. medium body and full mouth feel.
July 29, 2014 - Super dark and concentrated. Great balance and structure. Lots of earth and spices. Solid fruit also. Drinking great right now and should have a year or two to go.
November 2, 2012 - A little coarse and peppery but lots of flavor. Not much fruit in this. A good bottle but nothing special
December 29, 2011 - May get better with more time in bottle. At 14.6%, abv is relatively high for Pinot Noir
October 30, 2011 - Good Pinot, but not great. Cherry to start, but a twinge of alcohol on the finish. May just be young, would wait to drink to give it time to mellow.
