March 23, 2016 - Deep red color but partially transparent. Limited black fruit nose. Taste is traditional Cabernet, but somewhat thin and astringency appears in the mouth after 10 seconds. Perfectly acceptable with food, but not a sipping wine.

November 20, 2015 - Very smooth with young tennants

August 10, 2015 - Medium to light-bodied Cab. Easy drinking, very good with food.

May 14, 2015 - This has really gained some seriousness over time. Dense dark fruit, lots of black currant and blackberries. Slightly sweet touch, but not jammy. Dark chocolate, black cherries on the palate where tannins still show quite some grip. Was great with BBQ.

    December 13, 2014 - Decanted.

The wine has a typical fruit forward cab nose of black currant, cherries, vanilla and hints of cedar.

There is some tart fruit up front that is overwhelmed by black spice, black coffee, tobacco, dark chocolate. The pallet it much darker than I recall from 18 months ago.

The soft tannins are still hanging in and the wine has a few more years.

    Overall an enjoyable bottle.
