May 25, 2014 - Seems somewhat faded from its former glory. Nose of dark fruit, earth and chocolate, light to medium bodied, mild tannins with fruit and taste receding from previous tastings

March 26, 2013 - lots of cherry fruit left with some menthol and camphor. Nice layering of flavors. Tannins are virtually non-existent. still a nice wine, but not for too much longer.

January 24, 2013 - drinks perfectly right now. a hint of brick on the otherwise garnet core. candied fruits, black cherries on the nose. a hint of sage. starts with similar flavors plus some bitter tinge that dissipate with time in the glass. full bodied and long finish. may be a bit short on complexity to merit a score in the low nineties.
