  April 12, 2016 - Clear, medium garnet-brick.
  
  Aromatic with age: black cherry jam, creme de cassis, fresh black pepper, cinnamon, and slight cocoa.
  
  Off-dry, medium-full body. Flabby acidity. Medium, dry tannins. Fairly well balanced, but lacking in acidity. Moderate flavors of: prominent mature red fruit, very slight minerality, somewhat salty, and burnt sugar.
  
  Long-length finish. Aged quite well.

  July 9, 2012 - Ripe and fleshy with great bramble fruits with flavors of red and black berries, hints of licorice, spice and mineral. It's leaning more toward jammy with super ripe fruit, but balanced well with the other influences which keep it from going too far to being a fruit bomb. Nice wine. Beautifully concentrated fruit.
