    December 1, 2023 - (Decanted for one hour)
    Deep red colour with a brick red hue and with an incipient maturity showing a warmer nose with morello cherries, herbs and roasted notes and opens up in the glass with lovely black truffles and forest floor in a delicious way. Intense with a very fruity and pleasant palate where the tannins are smoothing out with some Herbert talong över om the lengthy finish.

    August 12, 2023 - (Decanted for one hour)
    Deep red colour with a brick red hue and a mature nose showing sous bois, leather and some oak and opens up with licorice in a very pleasant way. Mature palate with leather and some primary fruitful sweetness with some herbs on the lengthy finish. Worked very well with grilled beef tonight.

    August 12, 2022 - Deep red colour with a brick red hue and a mature nose showing red berries, fresh herbs and some leather in a very pleasant way. Smoothing tannins on the mature palate with an intense finish showing warm fruit and some hints of leather. Drinking very well from magnum bottle right now..

    August 30, 2020 - Bottle was badly past its prime. Didn't want to give rating as it would have been unfair. I have very little info on storage history so not sure if this is due to storage or bottle itself.

    December 13, 2019 - 4/6, good cork, decanted 1/2 hr.
    Medium/deep ruby/garnet core, pale garnet rim. Spicy dark cherry fruit, notes of earth, maybe a slight touch of kirsch/alcohol. Medium/full bodied, dark cherry, spice, touch of balsamic (within tolerance!), soft tannins, fresh/vibrant acidity, very good length finish. Despite the touch of heat on the nose this is excellent and whilst it is certainly drinking well I have no qualms about leaving it for another 5 years.

    July 2, 2019 - (Decanted for two hours)
    Maturing nose showing leather, sweet fruit, liquorice and some fresh herbs. Softening tannins with morello cherries and maturing notes of leather, mushrooms and some herbal touch with a smoothing sweetness on the balanced finish. This is a well matured bottle and ready, but should keep well for a number of years.

    June 9, 2019 - Starting to mature. Secondary aromas with deep fruit, figs, black cherry. High acidity and robust but integrated tannin. Leaves a certain burning sensation. Rustic. Works fine with sauce bolognese. Drink or keep for a few years more.
