December 31, 2011 - Nose of fresh hay and spice. Both red and dark fruits on the palette, wonderful finish.

November 3, 2011 - Let's talk about value. At this price, you're getting premium quality Walla Walla fruit. Made by the same careful hand and method as Isenhower's other fine wines. All the fruit is hand picked, punched down by hand, carefully treated from barrel to barrel. This just didn't make the cut for final blends, and it was blended into this. It's very tasty for its price point. Dark fruit, a little whiff of alcohol on the nose, bits of leather and soft wood too on nose. Taste is full and deep, cool, no hint of fake oak or plastic at all. Quality of fruit shines in long finish that tastes like grapes, not shrink-wrap. Good stuff.
