June 6, 2015 - Found this bottle in a dark corner. It's holding up surprisingly well, with some smoky black cherries, but oak is just too dominant resulting in a very dry finish.

August 20, 2014 - Still drinking quite well, although I meant to open a few years ago. Note of green pepper, cigar box herbs, and oaky undertones. Nicely balanced on the palate. Would have no issue pairing with a nice cut of red meat.

June 28, 2013 - A big wine that definitely needs food to temper it.

(Montes Alpha Cabernet sauvignon) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-like the inside of a balloon; rubber glove; awkward medicine-like; solid sense of black cherry & black raspberry; definite vanilla & oak; TASTE-loaded w/ the Oak Monster; some dark fruit & some other things that are masked by the Oak; some vanilla; some second tier cherry juice flavor, but is overpowered by the Oak; some nice polish & decent weight; chocolate covered strawberry on the attack, but then the Oak takes over; JM-89; GV-84
