March 7, 2018 - Drinking well now, everything is fully integrated. Aromas/flavors unchanged from my 2013 note but the balance is enough to bring it up to a 90.

January 28, 2017 - This one was drinking great right off the PnP. Crimson red in appearance. Appealing bouquet of black cherry, blue and black berries alongside other dark fruit, tobacco leaf, and cedar. Likewise on the palate with some herbaceousness. Dry, full-bodied and nicely balanced with fine chewy tannins, moderate acidity and a medium finish. (92+)

January 20, 2014 - Ripe raspberries, sweet spices and chocolate on the nose, medium full bodied, tannins in pretty good balance with the fruit for drinking right now.

November 2, 2013 - PnP at Camino. Needed decanting, took 15 min for the heat to blow off. A bit of mocha flavor and big red fruit.

August 15, 2013 - My only bottle of this, I opened it last night while looking for something different to pair with pork loin stuffed/rolled with prosciutto and red pepper. Sorry for the lack of details, but I found darker red/purple fruit, with just a bit of tannin and minerality. No noticeable oak. This bottle surprised me with how well it was drinking and how good it was. Great job by the Lagier Meredith/Potts team.
