January 18, 2015 - Lovely, fragrant perfume, some good red fruit and not much else. Maybe too young? Very good with our roasted heritage chicken

January 26, 2014 - Almost four years since last CT TN and at this point I founded this second brand quite delicious.
Sceptical as I was about garage winemakers, I've to tell you this is a harmonious Merlot based bottle, do meaty but CF is giving that touch of greenness that balances everything here.
Showed a opaque yet mature colour.
Palate is ample, elegant, delicate even but with firm tannins. Pretty nice. Serious wine.
Apparently I'm a lucky guy cause haven't same taste than John Gilman had...

Bien buena. Un vino respetable.

September 10, 2010 - Clear and Deep garnet colour. Legs (13.5°)
Nose: warm (some VA) Mushroomy and quite a lot of dark cherries and blackcurrents, some vanilla and cinnamon also. After some aeration lovely notes of violets come through
Palate: Med+ body, med acidity, and good intensity of flavours (dark and red fruits), some oak. Somewhat tough tannins, Mid palate lacks subsbtance and the length is ok-ish.
Can keep and may round up a little with another 2-3 yrs

December 6, 2009 - Ripe dark fruits, leather and some earth. Soft and supple with smooth tannins. Quite delicious but finishes rather short though.

August 24, 2006 - Jean-Luc Thunevin Dinner (Chanterelle, NYC): 70% Merlot. Nose of limestone and red fruits. On the palate, it's a sweet wine but there's a bit of green-ness in there as well. Good red fruit and leather.
