December 23, 2012 - It is a slight step down from the DunHam Trutina in both intensity and structure; however, it has a flavor profile that is similar to the Trutina. Both wines display a nice dark fruit, and hints of chocolate and carmel. I believe the Trutina is one of the best blend value wine I have ever sampled, and this one is similar and also a very good value.

June 27, 2012 - This is a nice blend at a good price. I'm instinctively skeptical of blends that include Cab and Syrah, but this one works, as do a number I've tasted from Washington despite my skepticism. This wine has a really nice nose of chocolate covered cherries. Similar flavors on the palate with full fruit but nice acidity that gives lift to the finish and provides some structure. Strong tannins but not overbearing and they ease with a little air. A short decant wouldn't hurt but fine to pop and pour as well.

March 12, 2012 - A Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot blend with aromas of cherries and spices and a persistent finish. An excellent value wine!

December 6, 2011 - I liked this more than I though I would. It is soft and round, but there are nice deep red cherry flavors along with a zingy blackberry component on the midpalate that I assume means that there's some syrah in it. Decent acid as well. For $12.75 I would buy it again.
