October 19, 2011 - Austrian Riesling 2010; 9/14/2011-12/31/2011: Pale yellow gold. Thickly textured aromatic profile, freshening up with some time, with banana, green apples, mango and papaya. Ripe and flavoursome on the palate, with a yeasty undertow, balanced with some zingy acidity. Impressive and pleasing (though not as beguiling as some).
