  March 13, 2017 - Has held up fine. No funk. Still the sour mash smell when you first pop the cork. Burns off after decanting. Best after 2 hours.. Leather and tobacco mostly gone but left it very smooth.

  December 1, 2014 - Lots of throw deposited on the neck of the bottle. Thin in color and body. Typical funk on the nose upon opening but blew off pretty quickly. Nose still has reddish fruit/berries but not very intense. Some acidity on the palate that made it a nice foil with food. On the decline but still decent for a $20 CdP when released.

  November 30, 2013 - Sour cherries and vinegar greeted us. 60 minutes decanted and it is much more approachable. black cherries, tobacco smoke, chalk. Nearing the end of her drinking window.
