October 17, 2012 - Drank over two nights. This may have just become my go-to $15 pinot. Certainly for Willamette. Simple but solid. Great acidity.

October 1, 2012 - Drink 'em if you've got 'em. The nose is starting to fade on these. Still good fruit and tasty at the price.

July 13, 2012 - Pretty simple, slightly too oaky and too fake fruity to be anything worth expounding on. Negligible structure in both tannin and acidity. A shame, because their other wines are usually first rate.

May 14, 2012 - Tasted over several days. Simple, juicy and ripe with some oak notes. Could've used a little more acidity to balance out the big fruit. Overall, decent wine, but not something I'd seek out.

March 1, 2012 - This the very definition of a daily drinker. Great nose to the wine - had the earthy note I enjoy. Wished it carried through more to the palate where the darker cherry notes came forward. Great QPR.

December 4, 2011 - Dark, slightly stewed cherries on the nose. The fruit carries through to the palette with a bit of spice. Gentle tannins and decent acid carry the palette through the finish. There's also a slight astringency to the finish that seemed to diminish after being open for an hour+. Overall, a nice QPR.

September 22, 2011 - Drank over about 1.5 hours. Nose was muted at first but did open up somewhat to reveal pretty dark cherry fruit and some floral notes. But it never really sang. Palate was spot on with more dark cherry and a little sweetness to balance things out. Wouldn't say it had "good" acid but it was totally in balance for drinking young. Didn't notice any oak on the nose or palate. I was wavering between thinking this was a real bargain and then feeling like this wasn't as interesting or bracing as I like them. For the money I'd rather drink Matello Lazarus or Belle Pente WV. Very solid.
