January 23, 2016 - Opens up with tart cherry, a bit lean. Opens up quickly where the cherry fruit sweetens up and rounds out the offering. Enjoyable + everyday value

March 14, 2015 - A good light ruby color is obscured by notable cloudiness. Oak and cherry candy on the nose. Appropriate but uncomplicated cherry flavors with a little cola. I would have guessed an inexpensive California PN based on the fruit focus with no earthy or barnyard funk, or tannic backbone, to tell me otherwise. Overall the wine comes across as flaccid, but works as a food wine. QPR is very good for the region but could probably find something comparable or better for about the same $ from a new world producer. Definitely a drink now.

November 22, 2014 - Transparent crimson, light towards the edges. Aromas of black cherry, smoke, red licorice, cherry cough drop, and light herbs. Medium body, medium+ acid and finish, and palate largely mirroring the nose. Nice, bright, food-friendly option. Great QPR.

June 20, 2014 - Heavy barnyard on the nose. On the palate the wine was rich and medium bodied. Touch of earth with some black fruit on the finish. Really enjoyable

June 9, 2014 - Excellent village wine. Not complex but what do you expect for 17 dollars. I should have bought 2 cases for everyday drinking .
