September 17, 2023 - Not terribly concentrated but not the worse for it, this is a classically-styled St.Emilion with aromas and tastes of red cherries and redcurrants, with a coat of fresh blackberry that gives it a crisp finish. Still plenty of life left and very enjoyable now.

March 21, 2021 - The fruit was more gracious than I recall from my first bottle but there was a slight pastiness towards the finish which I did not note before. Good.

February 26, 2020 - This is a very satisfying right bank claret showing medium++ body, savoury fruit, plenty of underlying roundness, fresh acidity and ripe backbone. This is a classically styled wine less hedonistic than most "modern" offerings. The estate is now defunct having been incorporated into Soutard; what a shame! Good+.

June 1, 2009 - Bordeaux 2008 (Bordeaux): Very pleasing mint aromas and the palate is fresh, showing some milk chocolate and cherry, with a smooth texture. Not the richest St Emilion but nicely structured. 88-90
