October 27, 2019 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.
As suggested by the rating, a bit better than the bottle I had nine years ago, but still as noted by others, a bit disappointing given the price (not cheap) and the pedigree (Grand Cru). Opened up a bit through the bottle. Good balance but lacking the depth I thought it would/should have.
Drink up -- no panic, bu value in holding.

December 31, 2015 - This pricy corton-charlemagne never quite lives up to our expectations. Still, it is a complex wine with many enjoyable characteristics, but it is not the zinger one would expect from a grand cru.
October 7, 2012 - Disappointing. Flat, lacking in expression.
August 7, 2010 - I had a bottle of this at a friend's house, and I was simply not impressed. I found the wine to be a bit thin -- not very rich, certainly not a Grand Cru CC. It may be that it has sort of shut down -- I certainly hope so, as I have two of these myself. The professional reviews for this bottle were quite positive (WA-93, BH-90/93, Tanzer-89+), and although one reviewer might be off, it is rare when three are. So, I was and remain a bit puzzled. Perhaps more time is needed.
May 31, 2009 - This wine is good but not what one would expect from a corton grand cru. Finish is not long and taste is muted.
April 12, 2008 - Smooth up front with acidic tart finish.
August 22, 2007 - smooth as silk; banana, lemom and vanilla and aprioct.
November 30, 2006 - Upfront smooth and creamy with clean lemon,vanilla and smoke.
