May 29, 2022 - Served well chilled. Took a few minutes to warm up and expose all those brioche and citrus notes. Plenty of bubbles still, crisp and flinty clean with plenty of acidity and a dry finish. Fan of this winery when it comes to sparkling wines.
January 30, 2022 - This is in a truly good spot right now. Texture is a bit like nectar and the palate is pretty lush with tropical fruits and honey.
November 28, 2020 - Delicious Oregon BRUT. Drink soon
December 24, 2019 - Wonderful!
October 14, 2019 - This wine has finally come into its own. Beautiful small abundant bubbles, great acid and fruit balance. Fabulous with dungeness crab and salad. The best Oregon bubbly I have had and good for many more years!
On the second night it was just as good, just as fresh and wonderful!
August 20, 2019 - A really good Oregon sparkler that, unlike the 2000 vintage still has tons of small bubbles. Clean, crisp, lite flavors of brioche, yeast, ripe apple, and several citrus fruits, with medium intensity and a somewhat dry finish. Wine was enjoyed by everyone. Glad it showed so well as I have more of this and a lot of the '02s, and unfortunately 6 more of the 2000s. 93+
May 16, 2018 - Muted nose, fresh, creamy flavor and palate feel. Delightful over 2 courses.
January 1, 2018 - Superb, complex
December 29, 2017 - Beautifully creamy with citrus and mineral on the palate. In a really good place right now.
March 26, 2017 - Medium lemon appearance.
Evolving nose of citrus (lemon and lemon peel) , brioche and lemon meringue pie.
It my opinion this wine is all about the palate- rich citrus and autolytic flavors, zingy acidity and a long finish. Very dry. Delicious wine that will likely last for another decade - easily. No disgorgement date on the bottle. This was purchased in Edmonton Canada in October 2016.
Finally this would be a dead ringer for aged champagne in a blind tasting. Best American sparkling wine I have ever tasted.
