August 26, 2018 - A lovely wine in every way this 2004 Sauzet is pristine with a pale green gold colour and a fresh nose of white stone fruits, pear, white flowers, hazelnuts and touches of honey. The palate is classic Puligny with lovely stone fruits, lemon drops, honey and nuts balanced by a piercing minerality and grip. Delicious and a reminder of what White Burgundy should be at 14 years of age.

August 1, 2015 - Second bottle in the last couple of months, both excellent. Nose was an expressive combination of flowers and fruit. Palate was laser like with a combination of fruit, minerals and good acidity. Full palate and long finish. Hoping my remaining bottles will be this good, but will not push the limit on time.

June 15, 2015 - Moderate yellow; lovely yellow flowers aromatics coming from the glass; peach pit, lemon curd, rocky limestony minerality; delicate with slight creamy yogurty component; super silky, soft, little bit of weight but elegant, perfect lift of acid in the back end with a moderately long finish. Really classy. 92-93.

June 10, 2015 - Very lean almost to the point of lacking fruit. Lots of lemon/lime green fruit. A bit awkward. This was excellent on release. Maybe off bottle.

April 18, 2015 - My bottle was a bit disappointing. It did not express the terroir of the 04 vintage I was expecting. The nose was shy perhaps. Aftertaste had some nuts initially but it turned into a sour sour taste by end of the night (2 hours later). The richness and finesse of the Sauzet style was present. Perhaps an odd bottle.

January 10, 2015 - Green-gold with some deepening of colour. Nose white peach and pear, touches of lemon and grapefruit. Nuts and limestone earth follow. Palate emphasises the fruit characters but followed by nicely austere mineral touches with good grip and drive. In perfect shape and an excellent 1er Cru despite being submerged in the summer 2011 Brisbane flood.

February 9, 2014 - Great year - delicious wine with classic white peach, apple, limestone nose with intense mineral finish on the palate. In great shape unlike the 2 bottles 2002 Perrieres tried before which were severely premoxed

December 25, 2013 - Christmas Day 2013 (My place, parramatta, sydney): Aromas of toast, biscuit, slight lemon and stone fruit, cream, butter and honey. In the mouth there are medium minus intensity flavours of peach, toast, cream and butter with slight toasted hazelnut that lend a touch of bitterness on the medium plus length. Subtle, nice.

December 21, 2012 - Singing as the last one, refreshing and youthful, few signs of development at eight years old. Lovely chard-y character to the fruit, steely, spicy minerals, "kerosene", hazelnut...

December 2, 2012 - Wonderful oily minerally candied nuts, iodine, hazelnut, candied lemon/lime, nice.
The wine looks Yellow gold colored. It smells like Lime, Lemon, Pear, Honeydew, Mineral, Stoniness, Acacia, and Hazelnut.
