March 10, 2024 - This bottle did nothing for me (my actual short note was "zero, meh"). Funny, as some of the table seemed to enjoy it.

March 9, 2024 - Grand Cru White Burgundy Fest: Incredibly fresh and delicious, vibrant with tons of energy. Very good.

November 7, 2022 - Great citrus aromatics, classic Leflaive.

September 9, 2022 - The re-conditioned 2004 Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet is equally spectacular. Beautifully laced fresh orchard fruits, citrus, concentrated salinity and buttery popcorn. Chiseled. Note: the reconditioned Leflaive have shocking amount of bottle variations, Pucelles 04 was in particular dubious. (94/100)

  • Alex G. Likes this wine:

August 26, 2022 - A youthful example of this wine, no oxidation whatsoever which is always a pleasant surprise from Leflaive of this era. Nice secondary notes with some earthy truffle rounding out the fruit. Not especially powerful as the best aged Leflaive Chevalier can be, this is at peak and wouldn't recommend risking further age.

(Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet) Light, faintly vanilla nose; nice, light bodied, balanced, citrus, cream, minerals and stones palate with good grip; medium-plus finish
