June 24, 2019 - Koehler-Ruprecht The best Dries and some add-ons; 6/23/2019-6/27/2019 (Neuhof am See): not blind
As expected it Needs lot of time. Only a few minutes of decantation and then over 2 hours in the glas. The beginning is oaky and not balanced but after one hour it starts to swagger. Precision, Popcorn, nuts, Saline, opulent, not silent in his Expression. generous. For the next 10 years at least. I would decant for at least two hours. 96(98)

April 6, 2019 - From the wine list at Rostang. Shows a bit of 2004 greenness, which adds complexity. Secondary notes of nuts and brioche. Perfectly balanced and drinking well. Does not have the intensity of more recent vintages, hence the 94 score.

January 9, 2019 - Disappointed as this was mildly pre-moxed. Deep yellow color, apple cider/butterscotch nose, flat palate shows a little of the green/lean 04 element. Not dead, but not good either.

August 31, 2018 - Coche-Dury Lunch with a LaTâche Kicker, Then More Après Lunch Wines (Elements Restaurant at the Sanctuary - Paradise Valley, AZ): Tasted single blind alongside the 2004 Perrieres. Maturing yellow and green apple aromas and flavors with lots of floral notes and background spice. Very long and precise with an intense minerally finish with some bitter, earthy hints.

August 4, 2018 - Bursts of lemon, lees, minerality, nuts and acidity. Really sharp and precise. A diamond cutter of a wine. Classic Coche flavors, aromas and textures. A great example of the winemaking. Lovely right now but plenty of time ahead.
