September 14, 2014 - a unique (one of a kind?) combination of red & white: white grapes but fermented in oak for body. Body of an oaked Chard (it's Assyrtiko) and structure of a Grand Cru. to me the palate is off until it breathes for 2 hours but after that, it's quite good. Buy a case of Santorini whites each year and, in 10 years, I believe you will find it's the best $20/bottle purchase you've ever made. Remarkable structure and body.

December 21, 2013 - A very interesting wine with its lemon curd, waxy texture, good ripeness and sharp acidity; the barrel notes lead me to Bordeaux Blanc but there was something about it that didn't make sense.

August 10, 2013 - Lovely, shiny brass colour with traces of gold and green shades. Pure, clean nose with a hefty core of crushed stone running alongside bright citrus scents with the influence of cedary oak almost commanding. Vivacious lime and grapefruit notes linger until the long finish with penetrating acidity all lifting the greasy mouthfeel protecting it from the warmth of the 14,5% alcohol and the inevitable oak.

March 17, 2012 - Oinorama Wine Fair 2012; 3/17/2012-3/18/2012: (tasted at Oinorama) Full and sweet mouth, loads of butter, ideal levels of acidity, round with a medium aftertate of small ripe fruits. Wonderful

January 26, 2012 - A student presented this in my wine course. Nice nose of pear, plenty of minerality, medium weight and good acidity. A bit too hot on the finish for my tastes, but otherwise a very decent wine.
